'I try in my work to take the time and the effort to work at creating photographs that have this physical sense of the object within a reference of a physical space. I use my technical knowledge of photography not Photoshop to take the time to shoot how I have pre visualized the image. For the life of me I cannot understand why many so called photographers cannot use a light meter, donŐt understand depth of field or the focus plane, other than that they cannot be bothered or rely too heavily on automatic technologies. One can argue that photography is an art form but it is also a science, a science you have to understand so that you use it to work for you and not against you.'
